Working: 24/7 Support
The All India Omnibus Owners & Tour Operators Association is a national organization representing private omnibus and travel operators across India. We work to protect industry rights, address operational challenges, and collaborate with authorities for fair and progressive transport policies.
Our aim is to improve passenger experience, promote modern and safe travel services, and ensure sustainable growth for every operator in the sector.
"To build a Association, free from race, religion, colour, caste, creed, language or borders, united to empower all the people who's lives directly or indirectly entwined with the Omni Bus Transport Industry."
We are proud to be backed by 500 members with a fleet size of 4000 vehicles handling passengers across Tamilnadu & All India. We solemnly pledge to secure, protect, promote and safe-guard the rights and interests of the Omni Bus Owners & Operators and to work for removal of disparity, if any.
We sincerely thank G.K. Vasan, President of Tamil Maanila Congress, for strongly raising his voice regarding the tax burden and operational challenges faced by All India Omni Bus Owners and Tour Operators. His timely support has brought valuable attention to the difficulties encountered by thousands of operators who serve passengers with dedication every single day.
As a part of our continued efforts, we had the privilege to meet and greet G.K. Vasan in person, where we conveyed our concerns and extended our gratitude for his strong and proactive stand on behalf of our industry. His positive approach and willingness to listen have given us confidence that our concerns are being acknowledged at the right level and will contribute toward fair, practical, and business-friendly solutions for the future of the travel and tourism transport sector.
We truly appreciate his commitment, leadership, and continued support towards protecting the interests of operators and ensuring timely relief for our industry.
Based on the consultative meeting held at the Office of the Transport Commissioner on 09 January 2026, it has been announced that, effective from 10 January 2026, all bus owners operating from the Koyambedu Bus Depot must operate their buses via the Outer Ring Road (ORR) through Poonamallee–Nazarathpet. Bus operators have been strictly instructed not to collect fares exceeding the rates announced by the association and to ensure proper verification of VIA route fare structures. Transport Department officials have warned that strict action will be taken against bus owners who fail to comply with these directives. In light of the upcoming Pongal festival, the association has appealed to all its members to provide safe, fair, and high-quality services to passengers.
